This piece was painted for a lovely family who chooses to see the positive in each moment. They live by their motto Seva, which means "Selfless Service" and believe life is not meant to be walked in a straight path. I think about the parallels of that to refracted light- redirecting and bending in dedication to its purpose. And in doing so, offering unexpected and thrilling views for the beholder. How lucky are we to have that in both science and in people who shine their light their way?
