FAQs for Custom Commissions

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

Commissions start at $5,000. Pricing for a commission is $2.25/square inch for canvases up to 68”x108” (call for pricing above this size). For example, a 48" x 48" painting is calculated like this: 48x48x2.25= $5,184. The painting is $5,184+ the frame + delivery/hanging or shipping + tax. The average spend out the door for one painting is: $7,000-$20,000.

I’M SCARED I WON’T LOVE THE PAINTING

You will. I'm not happy if you're not happy.

WHAT IF I HAVE REALLY TIGHT TIMING?

I’m used to it. We’ll make it work. 

DO YOU TAKE CREDIT CARDS?

Yes. All of ’em.

DO YOU TAKE PAYMENT INSTALLMENTS?

I take a 50% deposit to initiate the job. The second installment is due in 30-45 days. The final installment is due the week the painting is complete. I have been known in the past to help young collectors make payments.

CAN I GET A DISCOUNT?

If you are my mom, yes. Also, if you buy more than one painting at a time, I’m good to you. If you're an interior designer, join my Interior Designer Program for more info. Other than that, I don't haggle. 

WHAT ABOUT FRAMING?

Custom framing is an additional service we provide for your convenience. Custom framing is an additional charge. We save you time and added transport fees by offering this service in house. If you are loyal to a custom framer, we are happy to work with them as well.

WHAT IF I LIVE FAR AWAY?

We ship all over the U.S and some foreign countries regularly. I’ve created custom artwork remotely for super yachts, concierge businesses that haven’t even been built yet, PID concrete steps, luxury hospitality, you name it. I’m also available for travel and site visits as needed.

FAQS FOR COMMERCIAL PATRONS

HOW BIG CAN THE ART BE?

Any size. I’ve painted 1,500 sf murals, created 20’ high art installations and see no limit to canvas size. Canvases easily stretched up to 68”x108”, but larger canvases can be created with special accommodations for doorways and frame or stretched on site…it’s just a different pricing structure for super large art, murals and installations.

ARE YOU AVAILABLE FOR SUPER GIANT WORK?

I thought you’d never ask. Yes, I’d love to make something epic and meaningful. I’m in the mood to paint a giant piece for a hotel lobby. I would create the most beautiful luxury hospitality art.

CAN YOU PARTICIPATE IN PR EVENTS RELATED TO THE COMMISSIONED ART?
Of course.

WHAT ARE YOUR LIMITATIONS?
I have no limits. I do scaffolding. I do scissor lifts. I rappel. I solve problems, I have vision, and I want epic as much as you do. Okay, more, actually. But I’ll meet you at your level.
