Kristi Kennimer, artist and owner of Dallas-based home decor brand Scarlet Reagan, has opened a second store serving Park Cities. There youâll find all the fun home decor, furniture and art youâve come to expect from the Dallas trendsetter, but things just got a little sweeter.

It turns out, our art provides all the elements for beautiful and fun custom-designed wallpaper. Kennimer composes the wallpaper designs using brushstrokes, drips and splashes from her oil paintings.
PRESTON HOLLOW MASTER BEDROOM
In this master bedroom, the homeowner wanted to to be in love with her space. In getting to know her, we learned she is not afraid of pushing the envelope. She loves dimensional art, vibrant color and modern design. We felt liberated.
In designing bedrooms, clients usually look for one of two moods: either calm for sleep, or sensual for not sleep. I love that we went with sensual. The homeowner loves her room now, and we have loved every minute of working with her.

PRESTON HOLLOW POWDER BATH
Another client nearby gave us free-rein to design their powder bath, requesting custom wallpaper be part of it. We had just finished renovating two other bathrooms for them- both were done in a âresellableâ style and kept simple so the use could be flexible whether for teen use or as an office restroom.
The design was not only created to make the room sing, but the placement of the elements within the design are positioned to show in all the right places according to the fixtures that will cover portions of the wall (sconces, mirrors and the vanity). The exposed area is given special attention so that the wallpaper works as one element in the wallâs total composition. The color palette of the paper is also called out in Pantone to ensure the outcome is exactly what weâre after. Extensive proof reviews and tweaks are made until itâs perfect.
OUR STORE RESTROOM
We fleshed out the Duval pattern to create various colorways. We used Citrus for our store restroom, which weâre still in the process of designing, but here it is so far.
A STATEMENT DINING ROOM
The very first wallpaper we designed was a floral-inspired pattern we created for a clientâs dining room. The room is open and guests pass by the space on their long journey into the house. The customer dreamed of a dramatic black and white floor, which we also designed. This room is almost finished- just a few accessories to go, but here is the progress.
